After much reflection, I am writing to inform you that I will be stepping back from my role as Association Executive to assume the position of Government Affairs Director. It has been an honor and privilege to serve as your Association Executive for the past 15 years. During my tenure, I have dedicated myself to bringing professionalism, integrity, and honesty to our organization. I have focused on building personal and professional relationships with our current and future leaders, always with the goal of strengthening our community and advancing our mission. I am proud to share some of the achievements we have accomplished together: * Significantly improved our financial bottom line by increaseing the profitability of both the MLS and the Board without raising dues for the past 15 years * Enhanced the relevance of our association with Florida Realtors (FR), the National Association of Realtors (NAR), and the public we serve. * Supported and encouraged our members to achieve professional development and become leaders within our local community, FR and NAR. * Facilitated our data share agreement, ensuring seamless and efficient information exchange. * Established a 401(k) and group health plan for our employees, providing them with essential benefits and security. * Founded a nonprofit foundation for the Board, creating new opportunities for outreach and impact within the local community. These accomplishments were only possible with the support and dedication of our incredible members, staff, and leadership team. I am grateful for the trust you have placed in me. As I transition to my new role as Government Affairs Director, I remain committed to serving our organization with the same dedication and passion. I look forward to continuing our work together, advocating for policies and initiatives that benefit our members and the broader community.
