Good evening everyone!

I hope everyone is working hard to stay safe and get through this turmoil healthy and safe.  I appreciate all the contact and updates I have received from friends and colleagues!  I understand that there are even more emails going around now that we are more separated than usual so please feel free to contact me directly as needed.

In light of our meeting being cancelled per Social Distancing Guidelines, I have included in this email:

  • The intended agenda for the April meeting.
  • The minutes from our last meeting - Please let me know if you have any comments or see changes that need to be made.  In addition tot he basic minutes, notes of interest at the last meeting included:

Other notes and items for review and comment:

  • Our participation goal is 37% and we are currently at about 24.5%.  I will update the numbers when possible.  Our initial plans of going to offices and doing membership/participation drives during meetings and events is now on hold.
  • Remember to participate in the census and remind others of how important it is.
  • Reminder that important updates regarding the election timeline, changes and operations are available at https://www.votesjc.com/ .
  • I have included the recent news release from the Supervisor's office for review.
  • I have included the critical dates for the 2020 election
  • I have included the current updated list of candidates and their status
  • I have included sample question for candidates from last candidate screening event as well as the evaluation form we used at that time.

Thank you again for all the help and hard work!  I look forward to getting the ball rolling once we gain a bit of normality - we will adjust as necessary!

Stay Safe, Stay Well and Stay in Touch!!!!
