Good Morning,

This is a reminder that the Code of Ethics class is scheduled for tomorrow,
Friday, September 25th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Board office.  If
you are already signed up, you do not have to call in again.  If you have to
cancel, please call the Board.

The Code of Ethics class instructor is Teresa Mercurio and there are 3 hours
of CE credit.

REALTORSR are required to complete ethics training within four-year cycles.
The current cycle is January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2016.  Training must be
completed at any time during these established cycles.  Failure to complete
training during any cycle will lead to
http://www.realtor.org/policy/membership-suspension-information suspension
of membership for the January and February immediately following the cycle
deadline, with termination of membership starting March 1 after the cycle
deadline.

As part of a wide-ranging set of recommendations to raise the bar on
REALTORR professionalism, the NAR Board of Directors at its Nov. 10 meeting
in New Orleans approved the drafting of a proposed aspirational Code of
Excellence to be brought to the board at a future meeting for approval.
Part of the changes involves changing the frequency of NAR's Code of Ethics
educational requirement from every four years to every two years, starting
in 2016.

Thank you,

Victor
