This is an important email, especially if you have to renew your license in
September, 2017.

Thank you,

Subject: REPORTING OF CE FOR SEPTEMBER RENEWALS
Importance: High

Good Morning Everyone;

Just a note to let you know that I reached out to the DBPR with regard to
the suggestion that the DBPR allow an extension for the completion and
reporting of CE for license renewal for September due to Hurricane Irma.

Here is what I got back from the DPBR:

"Please let the Directors know that as of Wed 9/13/2017 9:54 AM, we have no
extensions in place for renewals. We will let you know if that changes. At
this time, the licensees that don't complete their post education on or
before October 2, 2017, by midnight Eastern Time, can request individual
hardships and they will be handle on a case by case basis."

The hardship requests should be sent in writing to the Orlando office
attention: Education Section.  The address is 400 West Robinson Street Suite
N801 Orlando, Florida 32801

If the status of this changes in any way - we will be sure to alert you
immediately.  We will be working through the end of the month to be sure
that classes are processed in compliance with the deadline.

Take care,

Sharon
