The St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board of REALTORSR and the St.
Augustine & St. Johns County Multiple Listing Service have, for the past few
years, discussed changing the Bylaws as it pertains to the term of office
for the President - Elect, President and Immediate Past President.  At the
September 17, 2015, Board of Directors meeting a Motion was made, seconded
and approved to change the Bylaws to reflect the terms of office for the
President-Elect, President and the Immediate Past President back to one (1)
year terms with the effective date to be January 1, 2018.

In order for the Bylaws for both the Board and the MLS to be the same in
regards to the terms of the Officers, the MLS Board approved a motion that
was moved and seconded to change the Bylaws to reflect the terms of office
for the President-Elect, President and the Immediate Past President back to
one (1) year terms with the effective date to be January 1, 2018.

Please see the attachment for the details of the proposed change to the MLS
Bylaws.

The rationale for this proposed change will reduce the time commitment to
serve in these three (3) offices from six (6) years to three (3) years.
This proposed change will encourage more candidates to participate and to
seek these offices.

This Bylaw change requires you, the Participant, to vote on this proposed
change to the Bylaws.  If you vote yes, then the change would be effective
January 1, 2018.  If you vote no, then the two year terms for the
President-Elect, President and Immediate Past President would remain in
place.

YES________                                  NO________

Thank you,

Victor
