ST. AUGUSTINE & ST. JOHNS COUNTY MLS NOTICE OF CANDIDATES FOR 2024 The Nominating Committee's report for the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board Multiple Listing Service (MLS) has been approved by both the MLS and Association Board of Directors. The nominees are as follows: President-Elect Karl Vierck Bridge City Real Estate Company Secretary Cory Billingsley Coldwell Banker Premier Properties Treasurer Dirk Schroeder Century - 21 St Augustine Properties Director Michele Scarponi Watson Realty Corp, Inc. Director Maya Aselta Sunshine Realty & Appraisal Services Director Shelia Clark Watson Realty Corp, Inc. If you would like to run for one of these positions, you must meet the qualifications, you must submit your name by petition and it must be received by me no later than 1:00 pm on November 8, 2023. The petition must be signed by 15% of the Participants of the Service. The minimum qualifications for President-Elect are: 1. A REALTOR(r) in good standing of the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board of REALTORS(r) for a minimum of two (2) years. 2. Served at least one (1) year as a member of the Board of Directors of the MLS. 3. A commitment to move up to the Office of President with the understanding that this is a three (3) year commitment (1 as President-Elect, 1 as President and 1 as Immediate Past President). The minimum qualifications for Treasurer are: 1. A REALTOR(r) in good standing of the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board of REALTORS(r) for a minimum of one (1) year. 2. Has demonstrated an aptitude for sound financial knowledge and responsibility. 3. Must have served on the Finance Committee for a minimum of one (1) year. 4. Is the MLS Participant of a real estate office or has written permission of Participant. The minimum qualifications for Secretary are; 1. REALTOR(r) member of the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board of REALTORS(r), in good standing, for a minimum of one (1) year. 2. Is the MLS Participant of a real estate office or has written permission of Participant. The minimum qualifications for a Director are: 1. Shall have been a REALTOR(r) member of the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board of REALTORS(r) for a minimum of one (1) year. 2. Shall be the Broker/Owner/Manager, Participant member of his/her real estate office or have written permission of the Participant to act on his/her behalf. All Officers and Directors must be elected from among the Participants of the MLS. There is a limited exception that no more than four (4) may be elected from among REALTORS(r) with the written consent of the Participants with whom they are affiliated. The Final ballot will be emailed to all Participants eligible to vote on November 10, 2023. The completed ballots must be received at the Board office no later than 1:00pm on November 17, 2023.
