If you would like to run for one of these positions, you must meet the qualifications, you must submit your name by petition and it must be received by me no later than 5:00 PM on October 22, 2021. The petition to place an additional candidate in nomination must be signed by at least 15% of the REALTOR(r) members eligible to vote. The minimum qualifications for President-Elect are The President-Elect candidate must be a REALTOR(r) member in good standing in the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board of REALTORS(r) for a minimum of two (2) years. The candidate must have the commitment to move up to the office of President with the understanding that this is a three (3) year commitment (1-President-Elect, 1-President, and 1-Ex-officio). The candidate is serving or has served at least one (1) year on the Board of Directors. And the candidate has attended a minimum of two (2) FR conventions or business meetings during the past year and District 1 Mini-Conventions. The Secretary candidate must be a REALTOR(r) in good standing of the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board of REALTORS(r), for a minimum of one (1) year. The candidate has chaired or actively participated on a Standing Committee for a minimum of one year. The Treasurer candidate must have demonstrated an aptitude for sound financial knowledge and responsibility and must have actively participated as a member of the Finance Committee for a minimum of one (1) year. The candidate must be a REALTOR(r) in good standing of the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board of REALTORS(r) for a minimum of one (1) year and has chaired or actively participated on a Standing Committee for a minimum of one (1) year. The Director candidate must be a REALTOR(r) in good standing of the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board of REALTORS(r), for a minimum of one (1) year.
