Good afternoon everyone, I received the attached bulletin from Vickie Rianda of Island Title of St. Augustine. It addresses a mandatory surcharge of $3.28 that will be effective September 2nd for every title insurance policy issued in Florida. These funds will be aggregated for the payment of claims and administration expenses for two failed domestic underwriters that are currently in receivership. This charge is being mandated by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. Please see the attachment. Thank you, Victor Victor J.
